The Habima Theater troupe of Palestine will come to America for a repertory tour in the Spring, it was announced today by Luise Rainer, chairman of the Sponsorship Committee for the tour. Plans include a limited engagement on Broadway under the auspices of the Theater Guild followed by a transcontinental tour, after which there will be a series of special performances at the New York World’s Fair in conjunction with the Jewish Palestine Pavilion. The ensemble coming to America will consist of 30 members and will bring its own scenery.
