A message to Haile Selassie, ruler of Ethiopia, congratulating him on the “final liberation of his country from the Fascist hordes” was sent today by the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine. Describing the Jewish achievements in Palestine, the message concluded by wishing the emperor “a long and prosperous reign unhampered by cares or tribulations.”
