The Palestine Department of Immigration has instructed its labor control officer, George Msarsa, a Christian Arab, to visit factories and industrial establishments in the Tel Aviv and Jaffa district with a view to ascertaining their likely labor requirements during the coming months. His statistics are to be compared with the proposals to be submitted by the Jewish Agency in connection with the current semi-annual immigration quota for March-October 1934.
