The German Maccabi, Jewish sports organization, announced today that negotiations have been started with the German authorities to admit Palestine to the 1936 Olympiad to be held in Berlin.
“It is hoped to complete the formalities entitling Palestine to participation in the Olympiad in the near future”, the announcement said.
