Approximately $11,000,000 will be spent by the Palestine Government for the administration of the country during the fiscal year 1925-26, according to the governmental budget which was made known here today.
The budget, which amounts to £ 2,166,601 includes the following items: education £106,511, health and sanitation work £84,481, payment of Palestine’s share in the Ottoman debt and loan payments £223,000, maintenance of the Palestine police and gendarmeric £299,775 and Palestine’s share in the expense of the British gendarmerie in Palestine £189,247.
