Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement accused Israel of supporting terror. In a meeting Wednesday in the Gaza Strip, Fatah leaders issued a statement calling the Israeli government a “terrorist entity.” The statement, which came one day after Israel’s Cabinet made a similar declaration regarding the Palestinian Authority, also said the “Palestinians have a legitimate right to resist the occupation and the aggression and to defend themselves.”
