Palestinian terrorists have slipped into the Sinai Desert from the Gaza Strip to take part in suicide bombings, an Israeli official said. Danny Arditi, a counterterrorism adviser to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, said Sunday that the infiltrators from Gaza are breakaway members of terrorist groups who, unhappy with the eight-month-old Israeli-Palestinian truce, decided to carry out attacks in the Sinai along with local Bedouin extremists.
