Palmer Gets Warm Welcome by Jewish Circles in Tel Aviv

Ely E. Palmer, newly appointed American Consul General in Jerusalem, who arrived here today to take up his post, received a highly enthusiastic reception at the pier from a representative group of American Jews headed by Mrs. Archibald Silverman and Nathan Kaplan, well-known American Zionist leaders. Consul General Palmer arrived here on the steamer Excaliber.

A civic reception was held for the American diplomat by the municipality of Tel Aviv at the Beth Am, city hall.
