November 19, 1939
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

A coordinating committee has been formed here to assist refugees interned by the French Government. The committee includes representatives of the Central Refugee Committee established by the French Government, the French Red Cross and of the Jewish, Catholic and Quaker relief organizations.

The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee will supply funds for the work. The interned refugees will be provided with blankets, shoes, warm clothing and medicaments. Formation of the committee followed a meeting attended by representatives of various organizations, including Baron Robert de Rothschild and Morris C. Troper, European director of the J.D.C.
