The traditional four questions of the Seder service were supplemented in a bulletin issued by the Jewish Welfare Board for circulation among junior and intermediate groups of Y.M.H.A.’s and Jewish Community Centers.
In accordance with current interest in questioning, the Jewish Welfare Board has issued the bulletin under the title “Fifty Questions” on Passover.” The questions aim at familiarizing the youth with the facts concerning the historical significance and the observance of the Passover festival.
The Jewish Welfare Board has also issued a Passover cross-word puzzle and a comprehensive bulletin containing an outline of the historical and ceremonial significance of the festival.
Seder services for Jewish students at Cornell University will be arranged by the United Synagogue of America.
Usually the spring vacation at Cornell corresponds with the Passover holiday. This gave the Jewish students an opportunity to return to their homes for the holiday. This year the two do not coincide. The Jewish population in Ithaca is too small to provide for the 500 Jewish students at Cornell.
