The Philadelphia City Council today adopted a resolution authorizing the city’s Mayor and the President of the City Council to establish a “Sister City” relationship between Philadelphia and Tel Aviv. The resolution noted that both Tel Aviv and Philadelphia were the historic sites of their nations’ respective declarations of independence.
