The Anshei Sholom Synagogue here was broken into and burglarized for the fourth time in recent years. The burglars, in searching for synagogue funds, damaged sacred objects and the building itself. The synagogue is located in a neighborhood which has undergone extensive racial and religious changes during the past few years and its membership has dwindled from 300 to 20. In addition to the property damage, the vandals broke into a collection box and stole its contents.
