Plans for establishment in Amsterdam of a bank to finance emigration of Hungarian Jews and other “non-Aryans” affected by the nation’s stringent anti-Jewish law were revealed here today following conversations between the Dutch banker Frank van Gildemeester and Hungarian leaders.
The bank, it was stated, will be founded with the help of British, American and Dutch capital. Its aim will be to establish settlements of Hungarian refugees in Abyssinia, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and other countries.
