Plans for a massive Israel solidarity rally in New York are still in flux because of the scheduling and security needs of the headline speaker, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The United Jewish Communities rally, initially slated for June 3, now may be delayed until September, according to UJC officials. A smaller solidarity rally in Los Angeles will still occur on June 3.
