Wilhelm Krugera who, after acquittal by the British occupation authorities in Germany, was extradited to Poland, was sentenced today to 15 years imprisonment at Dobre, where he was a major in the Gestapo. The charge was crimes against Polish Jews.
At the same time, three Polish policemen, who served under the Germans during the occupation, were also charged with complicity in the extermination of Jews at Jaslo, One was sentenced to death, another to 12 years imprisonment and the third was acquitted. A total of 140 witnesses testified.
At Cracow, Dr. Ernst Boepple, deputy secretary for the German administration in Poland during the occupation, was sentenced to death for a series of war crimes, including responsibility for the extermination of Jews.
