Anti-Jewish riots started in Hanover Friday night were stopped due to the intervention of the police.

A band of Hakenkreuzler, armed with iron bars and clubs, attacked Jewish passersby, injuring many. The police arrested fifty of the Hakenkreuzler hooligans.
