The majority of the 2,000 interned Jews liberated from the “Jewish internment camp” at Ferramonte, Southern Italy, are nationals of Czechoslovakia, Poland and France, it was reported here today.
The liberated Jews are still being housed in the camp, the report said. It added, however, that all possible assistance is being given to them by the Allied armies. Most of them were interned when Italy entered the war.
