The Polish Government is extremely well disposed toward Jews, Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the Western Hemisphere executive of the World Jewish Congress, and Dr. Arieh Tartakower, a WJC official, told a press conference here.
Dr. Goldstein reported on the meeting of Western Jews with Jews from the Communist countries at last April’s observance in Warsaw of the 15th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Rebellion. He noted that the Polish press had been friendly in its comments on Israel’s 10th anniversary of statehood.
