Polish Jews Say Anti-jewish Terror Spreading over Country

October 31, 1930
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

Many Jews just arrived from Poland declare that the anti-Semitic terror has spread over the country in connection with the pending Polish elections. Zionist speakers are nowhere allowed to address political meetings.

The political bloc of Isaac Gruenbaum, member of the council of the Jewish Agency, was cancelled from the list in Vilna and many other districts. Instructors for the Gruenbaum bloc, when sent from Warsaw to outlying districts, were arrested immediately upon their arrival and released only on condition of their leaving at once. The arrests assumed a systematic character wherever a Zionist speaker appeared, they declared.
