Polish Premier Gen. Sikorski arrived in Palestine today on an inspection tour of the Polish forces in the Middle East. He will discuss Polish-Jewish problems with representatives of Polish Jews here.

It was revealed today that a high ranking Polish Army officer, passing Jerusalem en route to the Persia-Iraq command, took with him a Sefer Torah and ark as a gift from Chief Rabbi Dr. Isaac Herzog to Polish Jewish soldiers in the area. The Chief Rabbi has sent a message to the troops expressing the hope that the law from Zion will accompany them everywhere to ultimate victory. The Holy Scroll is encased in a portable ark.
