Polish Ship Brings Jewish Immigrants from Poland to U.s

The Polish ship SS Batory landed here today carrying several hundred immigrants to the United States including 33 United Hias sponsored Jewish men, women and children from Poland. United Hias migration specialists were at the pier to help speed the refugees to New York City, Dallas, Philadelphia, Rochester and Stamford, where they will be reunited with relatives, ending a separation, in some cases, as long as 30 years.
