The Nurnberg Stuermer declared in its issue of yesterday that “the present Pope, Pius XI, is an illegitimate child of a Dutch Jewess named Lippman.” The paper also reported that the Hapsburg royalty descended from the family of a converted Jew named Petrus Leonis, subsequently Loewenstein.
