The legal status of a great number of Jews in the new Roumanian provinces, hitherto classed in the category of Staatenlose (men without a country) was temporarily solved by an order of the Ministry of the Interior.
Recently an order was promulgated for the registration of aliens in Roumania. To relieve the inhabitans of the new Roumanian provinces who are eligible for citizenship but have not received their status for various reasons, the Ministry ordered the issuance of temporary citizenship papers for them.
