President Bush spoke by telephone with Arab leaders and emphasized the strong relationship between the United States and their countries. Bush had what the White House termed “introductory” conversations with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, King Abdullah of Jordan and Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd and Crown Price Abdullah.
