President Clinton has been asked to be the honorary president of a conference on the rights of hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees expelled from Arab countries in the years after the establishment of the State of Israel, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. The conference is slated to take place in Washington at the end of the year.
