President-elect George W. Bush should have less day-to-day involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process than President Clinton, a report said. The new administration should also evaluate alternative approaches to the peace process, such as partial agreements, and should move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, said a commission organized by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
