President Roosevelt was urged to take the initiative in “internationalizing” the pressing problem of Jewish refugees in a resolution adopted last night at close of the Congress of the League Against Racism and anti-Semitism. The resolution stressed the need for active solidarity among all the great democracies for the defense of peace and declared there can be no question of delivering colonial peoples to any nation glorifying a racial ideal which is incompatible with human dignity.
