Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell agreed that a six-week cooling off period would begin after a full week passes with no violence. “We see the continuation of the path forward as a complete and full cease-fire, and a halt to terror, violence and incitement,” Sharon said at a news conference with Powell.
