Prodigy Pianist Will Give Concert March 13

Ezra Rachlin, seventeen year old pianist, will make his orchestral debut at the closing concert of the New York Orchestra conducted by Nikolai Sokoloff in Carnegle Hall on March 13. Young Rachlin who was favorably received upon the occasion of his recital in Berlin in 1928 and who has played with the Philadelphia Orchestra under Mr. Stokowski, will play Rachmaninoff’s Third Concerto in D minor and other numbers.

GUARDIAN MOTHERS PARTY

The annual bridge party of the Guardian Mothers of the Pleasantville Orphanage will be held on Thursday, March 8, at the Ritz Oariton Hotel. The organization represents the Hebrew Sheltering Guardian Society, Pleasantville, N. Y.; the Home Bureau, 139 West 126 street, and the Fellowship House, 67 West 47 street.
