The Council of the League of Nations has extended an invitation to Prof. Albert Einstein, author of the relativity theory, to become a member of the League’s Commission for Intellectual Co-operation.
It will be recalled that Prof. Einstein, who was formerly a member of the Intellectual Commission, resigned from it about a year ago because of disagreement with the League of Nations’ policy.
