Prof. Ludwig Blau, noted authority on the Bible, the Talmud and Semitic languages, died here today at the age of 75.
Prof. Blau was born in Putnok, Hungary, and received his education in the Budapest Rabbinical Institute where he has since been an instructor in the Bible, the Talmud, Hebrew and Arabic. His published treatises deal primarily with the life of the Jews in the Talmudic and post-Talmudic eras.
