A doctorate has been awarded to Professor Albert Einstein by Lincoln University, in Pennsylvania, “for services to humanity.”
In accepting the honor, Professor Einstein said he believed there was a great future ahead for Negroes and urged the students at the University to “work long and hard and with lasting patience.”
