Professor Bruno Birnbaum, formerly presiding justice of the Industrial Court of Appeals in Germany and now a member of the faculty of Yeshivah College, was guest of honor at a dinner given by the college last night at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria.

Aldermanic President Bernard S. Deutsch was the principal speaker. Other speakers included Borough President Samuel Levy and Judge Otto A. Rosalsky. Max D. Steuer acted as toastmaster.

DEMAND KOSHER FOOD IN C. C. N. Y. LUNCHROOM

A petition is being circulated at City College asking that kosher food be served in the lunchroom, since eighty-five per cent of the students are Jewish.

JEWISH CONSUMPTIVE RELIEF SOCIETY MEETS AT ASTOR CONVENTION

The New York Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Consumptive Relief Society, of which Mrs. Mark Harris is president, and a group of business and professional men will be hosts at the annual convention of the society, which will begin March 17 at the Hotel Astor. Delegates from all over the country will attend the convention, which will last three days.
