At a meeting of the Zionist District in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, a resolution was adopted proposing that the coming Zionist Convention in Cleveland choose an Executive of nine or more persons for a period of no more than two years, with full power to re-organize the American Zionist movement. After six months the Executive is to enlarge its membership to eighteen, the additional nine to be nominated by Justice Brandeis and approved by two-thirds of the nine members chosen by the Convention.
