Rabbi Leo Baeck, president of Reich Representation of Jews in Germany and a non-Zionist, was today elected president of the German Palestine Foundation Fund (Keren Hayesod) with an executive of two Zionists and two non-Zionists. The election was held at a conference of the organization.
At the meeting, speakers stressed the “dark future” of the Jews in Germany and urged Jewish youth to seek its future in Palestine and other countries.
