Rabbi A. I. Jacobson died here today at the age of 69. Born in Tiberias, Israel, Rabbi Jacobson came to Sweden after a short stay in Lithuania. He had been spiritual leader of the Orthodox community’s synagogue in Stockholm since 1940, and has served as chairman of the Mizrachi here for many years. He was also active in work among refugees, particularly in hospitals.
