Rabbi Joseph Rosen, who gained fame as the Rogatschewer Gaon, died here today at the Vienna Sanatorium. Previously rabbi of Dvinsk, Latvia, the Gaon (eminent rabbinical scholar) was a world-famous authority on Talmudic law.
