Rabbi Max J. Routtenberg of the Kosher Zion Synagogue of Reading, Pa., has been appointed executive vice-president of the Rabbinical Assembly of America, it was announced here today by Rabbi David Aronson, president of the Assembly. Rabbi Routtenberg, who served as chaplain with the U.S. Army in Europe for three years, is also a member of the Board of Overseers of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
