Rabbi Yehezkel Abramsky, president of the Council of Yeshivot, has is sued a directive to all yeshiva heads urging yeshiva students not to participate in demonstrations, The Council represents Yeshivot in their dealings with external bodies and it is not clear if the directive carries the weight of authority.
