Rabbinate Protests Anti-jewish Statute

A dignified but strong protest against the anti-Jewish statute of Oct. 18 has been addressed to the Government by the French rabbinate, it was reliably learned today.

Meanwhile, it was learned that several hundred Jewish volunteers in the French army who are now interned in Switzerland will be liberated under the Franco-German convention on prisoners.
