Under the auspices of the Committee on Social Justice of the Rabbinical Assembly of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, a Seminar on the problems of Social Justice will be inaugurated this morning, at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
The Seminar, under the leadership of Professor Mordecai M. Kaplan, will meet once a week for a period of ten weeks, to consider the ethics of economic life, the economic adjustment of the Jew, and the problems of World Peace, with special reference to the application of principles of Judaism to these problems.
The Committee on Social Justice, under whose auspices the Seminar is conducted, is headed by Rabbi Israel Goldstein. The sub-Committee in charge of the arrangements, is headed by Rabbi Ira Eisenstein.
