Radio Liberty reported today it commemorated the liberation of the Jews from ancient Egypt with a Passover program featuring a Jan Peerce broadcast to the Jews of the Soviet Union.
The tenor sang “Elijah the Prophet” on the network, which operates day and night to beam programs in Russian and 16 other languages of the USSR from stations in Europe and the Far East.
