Rains Deluge Israel; Even Normally Parched South Gets Showers

Rain came in sweeping downpours all over Israel last night beginning the wet season. Agricultural experts said the force and extent of the first rains augured well for crops. Even the normally parched southern region experienced showers and local weathermen predicted that they would spread to the Sinai Peninsula today.
