Reform Jewish leaders criticized New York state for arresting Unitarian ministers who performed same-sex weddings. The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington blasted the arrests Monday of two Unitarian Universalist ministers from New Paltz, N.Y. The town’s mayor began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples last month and was arrested on similar charges.
