Francis Cardinal Spellman was named today the recipient of the Humanitarian Award of the Reform Jewish Appeal of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. The award will be presented to the Catholic prelate at a dinner here on March 27.
