Reform rabbis today joined with psychologists, sociologist’s and other experts in a probe of problems of marriage, the family and the home at a two-day institute on the campus of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion here.
Sessions, scheduled by the Central Conference of American Rabbis, national organization of leaders of America’s liberal congregations, will examine the role of the clergyman as advisor and spiritual counselor and the services he renders the family and the community. Attention will center on the Jewish family in the modern world.
