New regulations for Jewish sports organizations in Germany, issued by the Reichs Sport Leader, have been published in the C. V. Zeitung, organ of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports from Berlin.
Under these regulations Jewish sports organizations are permitted to function except only in single cases when they are prohibited by police order for anti-state activities. These organizations must adhere to some worker’s community known to the Reichs Sport Leader. The simultaneous adherence of these sports organizations to approved world Jewish organizations is not affected.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
