The Central Conference of American Rabbis, representing the Reform rabbinate, and the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, today urged the United States to grant to Israel a pact guaranteeing the present borders between the Jewish State and the neighboring Arab countries. The UOJC also urged President Eisenhower to personally intercede in the Middle East crisis.
