A Jewish member of the House of Representatives Rep. Earl Chudoff, Philadelphia Democrat, is resigning from Congress to assume duties as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia. He was elected to the judgeship this month. Rep. Chudoff has served as a member of Congress since 1949.
