Reports were received here today of anti-Jewish demonstrations in Loerrach and other towns across the German border.
Although the German authorities were said to have taken measures to prevent excesses as a result of the assassination of Wilhelm Gustloff, the reports stated that Jewish-owned shops and homes were stoned and a few persons beaten in the streets.
